Who can register to vote in Arizona?
To register to vote in Arizona you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be an Arizona resident
- Be at least 18 years old on the day of the next election
- Not have been convicted of a felony without having your rights restored
- Not have been adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Arizona
Can I register to vote on Election Day?
Arizona does not offer same-day voter registration, so be sure to submit your voter registration before the deadline.
What are the voter registration deadlines?
The deadline to register to vote online and by mail is October 7, 2024.
What do I need to bring to vote?
Please bring a Photo ID with your current address to vote such as:
- Valid Arizona driver license
- Valid Arizona non-operating identification card
- Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
- Valid United States federal, state, or local government-issued identification
If you do not have an ID with your name and address, please provide TWO of the following or the photo ID and one of the following:
- Utility bill of the elector that is dated within 90 days of the date of the election. A utility bill may be for electric, gas, water, solid waste, sewer, telephone, cellular phone, or cable television
- Bank or credit union statement that is dated within 90 days of the date of the election
- Valid Arizona Vehicle Registration
- Indian census card
- Property tax statement of the elector's residence
- Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
- Arizona vehicle insurance card
- Recorder's Certificate
- Valid United States federal, state, or local government-issued identification, including a voter registration card issued by the County Recorder
- Any mailing to the elector marked “Official Election Material”
Voters without ID may be able to vote provisionally.
