Who can register to vote in Alabama?

To register to vote in Alabama you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Live in Alabama
  • Be at least 18 years old on the day of the next election
  • Not have been convicted of a disqualifying felony, or if you have been convicted, have had your civil rights restored
  • Not have been declared "mentally incompetent" by a court
