SWIFTIES FOR KAMALA REACH NEARLY 10 MILLION VOTERS WITH “ERAS TOUR (GOTV VERSION)” CAMPAIGN

The coalition and its partners make direct voter contacts with phone and text banks during the recent Eras Tour concerts
Grassroots volunteer coalition Swifties For Kamala (S4K), along with partners Voters of Tomorrow (VOT), North Carolina Victory, Florida Democrats, Arizona Democrats, Ohio Democrats and Team Sherrod Brown, One Campaign for Michigan, and others have completed an expansive direct voter contact campaign over the last three weekends: “Eras Tour: (GOTV Version).”
About 9.7 million direct voter contacts were made during the program, adding to Swifties for Kamala’s total of over 16 million direct voter contacts made since their kick-off in July.
Together with state parties and organizations committed to electing democrats up and down the ballot, S4K mobilized Swifties to send millions of texts, in English and Spanish, and made phone calls to battleground and swing districts across the country, all while watching live-streams of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.
The phone and text banks saw as many as 375 volunteers per shift, with many sharing that this was their first time volunteering, phone banking, or text banking.

“This partnership has truly been a one-of-a-kind experience — in total we hosted 72 hours of phone and text banking with hundreds of volunteers,” said Samantha Bernstein, deputy organizing director of Voters of Tomorrow. “We’ve been able to build a real community while reaching tens of millions of voters across the country. This kind of joyful organizing is exactly why we’ll win. No matter how late it got in the evening, no matter how long volunteers had been on, Swifities put all their energy into fighting dragons with us. Because of all of our hard work, we know that change is possible.”
Eras Tour (GOTV Version) took place in tandem with the U.S. Eras Tour shows on October 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, and November 1, 2, and 3, from 3 PM - 11 PM ET each day.
