Friendship Bracelet Making

Instructions

As we’ve seen since the start of The Eras Tour, friendship bracelets have become a part of our cultural landscape! While people are making bracelets for all sorts of occasions, we want to ensure that the Swifties for Kamala brand integrity stays strong and that we stay on message.

With this in mind, we encourage you to make S4K bracelets that are consistent and will be instantly recognizable as “Swifties for Kamala” friendship bracelets. (Feel free to add your own bracelet designs and styles for your friends and local events! But please include these S4K phrases as well, and be sure to tag us in photos of them!)

Step 1 - Choose a Phrase

Create bracelets using the following phrases:

Kamala 24
Long Time Coming
In My Voting Era
Democracy is Delicate
Not Going Back
Harris Walz
Go Fight Win
Love and Hope

In addition, all bracelets should have “S4K” on the opposite side of the message so it is clear that it’s from our organization.

Step 2 - Color Scheme

For beads with letters, please use ones with black letters on a white background in standard bead font for easy, accessible reading.

In addition, please stick to using the following colors for decorative beads:

Loving him was RED
WHITE wine with ice
Paint the town BLUE

You can also use spacers of black, gold, and/or silver.

Step 3 - Bead Size

Here is where you can have a little more freedom. Sizes and shapes of beads can be whatever you choose. We don’t want to get too cutesy, but we do want to have fun! Feel free to include:

Hearts
Stars
American flags
Cat references

Step 4 - Bracelet Size

When constructing your bracelet, use stretchy string for accessibility. In addition, please make a variety of sizes for inclusivity:

6” – small
7” – medium
8” – large
9” – x-large

Step 5 - Add QR code hangtags

If you have a cricut, you can download the following files and print then cut on cardstock or sticker paper.

If you have a printer and some scissors, you can download the following files and print on cardstock. Attach with a hole punch and string or a cute sticker!
